When Han Sen saw what it was, his eyes opened wide. He felt his scalp go numb and goosebumps rise all over his body.
What rolled out of the pocket was actually a person. It was a naked man who looked to be in his twenties or thirties. His body was very thin, and his ribs could be clearly seen.
Without a doubt, it was a living person. Han Sen could clearly see the terror on his face.
Before he could react, many of the Shadow Scorpions had climbed onto the man's naked body and stabbed him with their tails.
It was unknown how many scorpion stingers had pierced into the man's body. The man immediately let out a heart-wrenching scream, as if he was a ghost suffering in hell. His body kept twisting on the ground.
"Uncle Bug looks like a nice guy, but I can't believe he's the kind of person who kills people. Even if that man has a grudge against you, you should have just killed him. Why torture him like this?" Han Sen felt a chill run down his spine.
But when Han Sen turned to look at Uncle Bug, he froze.
Uncle Bug was still kneeling outside the valley, and his face was covered in tears as he watched the man being stung by the scorpion. He was in so much pain that he could not even begin to describe it. He kept on saying something, and it sounded like he was praying for peace.
It was almost as if the man in the valley was Uncle Bug's son.
Uncle Bug's emotions were at their peak. Han Sen used his Dongxuan Aura to see what was going on. His heart was screaming, but Han Sen couldn't make out what it was.
There were two words that Han Sen could hear, though.
"Son? Is that man really Uncle Bug's son?" Han Sen looked at the naked man in disbelief.
If the man was Uncle Bug's son, Han Sen couldn't understand why he was doing this.
But a person's heart wouldn't lie. Although Han Sen couldn't hear the rest of the conversation, the word "son" could not be wrong.
The man had been stung by the Human-Faced Shadow Scorpion until his entire body was swollen. It was so swollen that it made one's heart jump. Anyone who saw it would think that the man would not survive.
He was a skinny man, and now he was swollen like a three-hundred-pound fatty. There was no way he was going to live.
The man's screams stopped. It wasn't that he was no longer in pain, it was just that he couldn't make a sound. His body was shaking, and his face was twisted in pain.
Uncle Bug's eyes were full of tears, and he didn't dare look at the man. His hands were clasped in front of his chest, and he kept on praying. His teeth were chattering, and his lips were trembling.
Han Sen had never seen such a weird thing happen before. He didn't know how to react, so he just stared at the strange scene that was unfolding in the valley.
Just as Han Sen thought the man was going to be eaten by the scorpion, he heard a sound that sounded like a baby crying in the valley.
It was different from the sound of the scorpions, though. There was something overpowering about this sound.
When the Human-Faced Shadow Scorpions heard the voice, they immediately retreated like the tide, returning to the holes in the mountain wall one by one.
In less than a quarter of an hour, all of the Human-Faced Shadow Scorpions had retreated, leaving only the man who was as swollen as a pig in the valley.
Suddenly, Uncle Bug raised his head and stared at the man who was lying in the middle of the valley, his eyes filled with tears of blood.
Han Sen stared at the man, wanting to know what was going on. He wanted to know why Uncle Bug would do such a thing. It was all too strange.
Han Sen stared at the man, but then he realized something was wrong. It wasn't the man's body that was wrong, but the man's shadow. It was very big.
The man was swollen like a pig, but there was no way he would have a shadow that was ten meters long.
The shape of the shadow was strange, too. The upper body was that of a man, but the lower body was that of a giant scorpion.
As Han Sen watched, the creepy shadow began to move. It was just a shadow on the ground, but now, it was walking out of the shadows.
He had a head of long black hair, a chiseled face, and a pair of eyes that were like black gemstones. His muscles were bulging, and even under the black shell armor, one could still see a row of ten abdominal muscles.
The lower half of this devil-like man's body was a huge black scorpion. The perfect combination of man and scorpion looked incomparably ferocious and terrifying, but it also gave people a strange combination of strength and beauty.
Han Sen looked at the scorpion man, and his face turned grim. The lifeforce it radiated was far greater than Disloyal Knight's. It was definitely a super class being.
"What is going on?
Why is there a super creature in the shadow of that man? "Han Sen stared at the scorpion man.
The scorpion man waved his long scorpion tail and stabbed into the man's chest. Then, the man's swollen body seemed to be drained of water, and his body quickly thinned.
In just a moment, the man's body returned to normal, and the scorpion man's scorpion tail was pulled out of his chest.
An incredible scene happened. There was only a small bloody hole left on the man's chest, but in the next second, the man actually climbed up from the ground. He looked agile and strong. It was completely impossible to imagine that he was just a dying man.
After the man got up, he charged at the devilish scorpion man with a face full of resentment. He looked like he wanted to eat the scorpion man alive.
However, the moment he rushed in front of the scorpion man, the scorpion man's majestic body seemed to melt into the man's shadow.
The man knelt on the ground, waving his fists madly at his own shadow while howling loudly. However, it was impossible to disperse the shadow. The only thing that was dispersed by him was the sand on the ground.
Soon, the man's fists were dripping with blood, but he still had no intention of stopping.
"Little Flame!"
Uncle Bug ran into the valley and tried to hold the man in his arms, but the man turned around and glared at him. Uncle Bug's face turned bitter, and he said, "Don't worry, Uncle Bug, I'm not going anywhere."
"I hate you. I'll hate you forever!" The man screamed at Uncle Bug, his eyes full of hatred.
Then, the man got up, turned around, and slammed his head against a big rock beside him. His face was full of despair.
But before the man's head could hit the rock, a strong arm wrapped in a black shell reached out from his shadow and pressed on the rock. The rock exploded, and the man fell to the ground. He didn't break his head.
